Hue is a city located in central Vietnam on the banks of Perfume River. It is about 700 kilometres south of Hanoi and around 1,100 kilometres north of Ho Chi Minh. Hue has a tropical climate or Am under the Koppen-Geiger classification system. Hue can be considered an all-year-round destination as the city enjoys consistent weather throughout the year. Although you can consider bringing rain gear if you intend to visit during the months of September to December and cool clothes during the warm and humid months of June to August.
