Thuy Tien Lake
If you’re looking for a bit of dangerous fun and adventure, then a trip to the Thuy Tien Lake will be right up your alley.
Thuy Tien Lake or Ho Thuy Tien is an abandoned water park located in Hue. It took around 3M USD to build, opened in 2004, and closed soon afterward — with all the elements and structures of the water park abandoned in the area. Guests and tourists take a trip to the site to perhaps have a “thrilling, off-the-beaten-path” adventure in a foreign country. But at the same time, seeing man-made structures in a semi-decaying state strikes urban explorers and even photographers as cool, unique scenes. One of the abandoned park’s main attraction is the dragon that rises out of the lake, upon which the whole park is laid around. You can climb up into the jaws of the dragon and just look out into the entire park. You can also see remnants from when the park was still in operation — laminated menus, decors, and even aquariums still filled with water.

Thuy Tien Lake is located in Huong Thuy Commune, Hue, Vietnam.
