Le Ba Dang Art Museum
Le Ba Dang Art Museum -- one of central Hue’s popular art galleries -- is an impressive, two-storey attraction that features the creation of famous Vietnamese artist, Le Ba Dang.
Set inside a beautiful, French-colonial building, Le Ba Dang Art Museum is home to more than 400 art pieces ranging from paintings depicting contemporary art, to carved wood, to sculptures made from wood, stainless steel, and metal from an American B52 wreck. Having lived in France, Le Ba Dang’s work often merges the Eastern and Western cultures beautifully. Located in the more secluded part of Perfume River, Le Ba Dang Art Museum is not only a place to see breathtaking local art, it’s a great place to relax, too. A small shop inside the museum sells pretty souvenir cards.
