Quang Trieu

Established in 1885, the eye-catching Quang Trieu (Cantonese) assembly hall is one of the majestic halls in Hoi An, a landmark that is considered an architectural heritage of Vietnam.

This 130-year-old assembly hall — which was once dedicated to Thien Lau Holy Mother — has served as a place where Chinese businessmen can temporarily rest and trade goods. Today, Quang Trieu is one of the most beautiful attractions in Hoi An — its stunning architecture, three-entrance gates, and stone pillars bearing intricate designs are all photo-worthy. Inside, the iconic dragon statue and statues depicting the Cantonese culture are some of the things that continue to impress tourists. The Nguyen Lieu Festival and Quang Cong Festival are held in this location.
