Thanh Chuong Viet Palace is a huge private museum in the middle of the forest that showcases items giving tourists a glimpse of Hanoi’s rich culture.

Thanh Chuong Viet Palace, an attraction named after famous artist Thanh Chuong, is home to many private collections which include ceramics and paintings, and intricately-designed temples and buildings. Built to share to the world Vietnam’s cultural and spiritual heritage, tourists can explore different rooms that contain iconic Vietnamese items such as statues, newspaper paintings, photos of important people, and various traditional handicraft. The place where it is located is very serene — far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the place allows you to savour the sounds of the birds and the nearby pond, and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze.

Thanh Chuong Viet Palace is located at Hien Ninh commune – Day Dieu slope – Keo Ca dam Soc Son town, Hanoi, Vietnam.

An admission fee of VND 100,000 (USD 5) is charged per person.

  • Fly to Hanoi via AirAsia, Korean Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Thai Airways, and Vietnam Airlines.
  • From Hanoi, rent a motorbike to Thanh Chuong Viet Palace.
  • From the city centre, you can also charter a taxi to Thanh Chuong Viet Palace and back. Roundtrip fare is USD 50.
