Sanctuary of Truth
Sanctuary of Truth is an old and popular building right on the beach in North Pattaya. Without any ties to any religion, the Sanctuary of Truth is neither a temple nor a palace. Instead, it is a place to appreciate art, culture, philosophies, and faith.
Once you enter this tall building, you’ll see different wood carvings related and inspired by Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. With towering figures on each of its four corners, the legends and beliefs of Thai, Cambodian, Indian, and the Chinese can be intricately distinguished. English tours are available here. While touring the interior, you’ll be able to see unique handcrafted wood carving and craftsmen making ornate sculptures done everything by hand. Both the exterior and interior details of this attraction are subjects of many photos – they’re simply breathtaking. The place beautifully merges the different beliefs of Buddhism, Hinduism, Brahman, and other significant spiritual details.
