Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden
Previously a fruit plantation, the Nong Nooch Botanical Garden is a 2.4 square kilometre attraction filled with beautiful varieties of floras and faunas, themed gardens, and cultural spots. It is the largest garden in Southeast Asia.
Once you set foot in this garden, you will feel like you’ve been transported into the gardens of different countries. They have a variety of attractive themes like the French gardens inspired by the 17th century Palace of Versailles, an animal sculpture garden, the Stonehenge modelled after the prehistoric monument in England, and the Butterfly garden where a bed of brightly-coloured florals is shaped into a butterfly. There’s also the Bonsai Garden, Desert Rose Garden, Cycad Valley, and Bromeliad Display Garden. An impressive collection of palms, cycads, orchids, and succulents can be found here.
Exploring on foot isn’t the best way to go. Rent a bike to see more of the garden’s attractions.
