Singapore Discovery Centre

Singapore Discovery Centre is both an educational and entertaining tourist destination that celebrates the Singaporean experience, and aims to tell the Singaporean story. 

The Singapore Discovery Centre is a tourist destination for both learning and entertainment — it has an art gallery, a Science museum, and an outdoor play area which has interactive exhibits and activities that help visitors know more about the island country of Singapore. See what makes Singaporeans stand out by joining a guided tour that includes knowing Singapore’s history, a test of the Singlish language, and watch “So Singapore” – a video that explores that quirks and traditions that make Singaporeans stand out. If you’re done with interactive displays inside the centre, you can enjoy the outdoor activities which include 4D simulation rides, paintball battles, and riding the pedalos out on the nearby lake.

Opening Days and Hours

The discovery center is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.  

Entry Fee and Bookings

Singaporean citizens and permanent residents are charged no admission fee. Tourists have the option to book a basic, value, and plus tour of the center. These options also has different admission rates ranging from SGD 8 to 60 (USD 6 to 45). 

How to Get There

• Board the train headed for Joo Koon MRT station. 
• From the station, take the 10-minute walk to Singapore Discovery Center.
