National Gallery Singapore
National Gallery Singapore, an art institution featuring outstanding collections of the modern art of Singapore and Southeast Asia, takes visitors to a tour of artworks depicting the history and heritage of the region.
The former Supreme Court and City Hall in Singapore were carefully restored and transformed to cater to National Gallery Singapore’s 8,000 art pieces, which included famous creations by renowned Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists like Chen Wen Hsi, Cheong Soo Pieng, Nguyen Gia Tri, and Svay Ken. Gain a deeper understanding and see the exhibits in a different light with the help of the museum’s artist talks, guided tours, and a lecture series. One of the main features of the museum include its art education center which provides a creative learning environment full of active learning programs and activities centered on the arts.

Opening Days and Hours
The gallery is open from Saturday to Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00, and Friday, 10:00 to 21:00.
Entry Fee and Bookings
A fee of SGD 20 (USD 14.88) is required for adult tourists and SGD 15 (USD 11.16) for students, kids, and senior citizens. Singaporean citizens and permanent residents are free of charge provided they present a valid proof of identification.
How to Get There
- If you are taking the MRT, you can make a stop at either the City Hall Station. Clarke Quay Station, and Raffles Place Station.
- From the City Hall station, take Exit B and walk for 7 minutes to the National Gallery.
- If you stopped at Clarke Quay station, take Exit E and walk for 10 minutes to the gallery.
- From Raffles Place Station, take Exit B and walk for 10 minutes.
