Located inside Fort Pilar, stepping inside the National Museum is like being transported back in time — the fort’s towering walls and the stillness that’s ever so present around the area give off a Spanish-era vibe. Inside the museum, you can find a comprehensive display of important items — miniature tribal homes, colourful vintas, preserved photographs, and household items and clothing of different tribes in Zamboanga are neatly showcased here. Outside, guests can explore the Fort and its empty prison cells, or simply settle down on one spot and enjoy the blazing sunset that can be clearly seen from Fort Pilar.

The museum is open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 17:00.
Entry Fee and Bookings
Entrance fee varies. For individual visits, the entrance fee is PhP 20 (USD 0.40) and PhP 10 (USD 0.20) for children and senior citizens. For group visits, entrance is PhP 10 (USD 0.20) for adults and PhP 5 (USD 0.10) for children and seniors.
