Crisologo Museum
To those who are not from Vigan, the Crisologo Family may not be as familiar -- but those visiting the Ilocos region’s most popular city can make a stop at Crisologo Museum, a landmark that tells about Vigan’s most prominent political dynasty.
Common items on display include the family’s personal effects, the original furniture, newspaper clippings, photos, and other memorabilia related to North Luzon’s history, natural history, ethnography, and culture. Several things stand out among the displays, mainly due to the dark stories they bear — this includes the blood-stained trousers from Floro Crisologo’s 1972 assassination, and the Chevy Governor Carmeling Crisologo was riding when she was unsuccessfully ambushed. Though the museum may not be everyone’s cup of tea — especially to those with little kids — because of some disturbing items, it’s still a place that will enlighten visitors.

- From Vigan Airport, take a taxi or a private car to the town centre.

- From the town center, board a kalesa to bring you to the museum.
