Maquinit Hot Spring

There are only a few known saltwater hot springs in the world, and one of them -- the Maquinit Hot Spring -- is located in Coron, just 30-minutes away from the town proper.

Experiencing Maquinit Hot Spring is best enjoyed gradually — despite the tempting steam coming from the pool, one should not immediately jump into it as its temperature runs between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius. Take your time, let your body slowly acclimate to the heat of the water, the texture of the pebbles on your feet, and you’ll eventually enjoy the pool’s warmth, even consider it oddly therapeutic. Maquinit Hot Spring is a great place to take a break and relax — the soothing water, the refreshing ambiance offered by the lush mangrove trees and the calming song of distant waves can make you forget your cares for a while.

Entry Fee and Bookings

Regular admission fee is PhP 150 (USD 3). Students and senior citizens are charged PhP 120 (USD 2.31) while children 5 to 10 years old are charged PhP 75 (1.50).
