Hinagdanan Cave
Cave lovers and curious explorers should not miss the Hinagdanan Cave in Dauis -- the cave is one of the most exciting adventure spots in Bohol.
Hinagdanan Cave, known to locals as “the laddered cave” is classified as a karst, a structure made of limestone. Inside, you can find interesting and photo-worthy stalagmites, stalactites and other rock formations that look more ethereal once hit by natural light. In the heart of the cave is an underwater lake — the clear lake displays a beautiful gradient of blue that slowly darkens near the edge. Tourists are allowed to swim in the underground lake except in the darker parts due to karst pollutants that are present in the water.
