The Chocolate Hills are undeniably a geological wonder – with its seemingly endless rows of symmetrical, conical hills spread over an area of almost 500 square kilometres. The hills’ appearance often varies, depending on the season – donning a luscious green colour during the rainy season, and a rich brown hue during the summertime. The Chocolate Hills are quite popular all over the world and can be considered an icon, as it is evidently displayed in seals and flags all over the province of Bohol.

The Chocolate Hills can be found in Carmen, around 55 kilometres away from Tagbilaran City.

The Chocolate Hills’ viewing deck opens daily from 08:00 to 23:30.

 

Entry Fee and Bookings

The entrance fee to the Chocolate Hills cost PHP 50 (USD 1).

 

How to Get There

  • You can fly in from Manila to Tagbilaran via Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines.
  • From Tagbilaran, take a bus to Carmen City and tell the driver to drop you off at Chocolate Hills.
