Hill Tribe Village
Visiting Kengtung’s Hill Tribe Village is an experience that combines culture and adventure - the 3-hour trek to the mountains culminate with an introduction to the lives of Myanmar's tribes.
Kengtung may have experienced developments, but it still has – in a unique way – preserved its culture through the help of the tribal people residing on the hills and mountains. Cheerful kids and friendly tribe leaders always give tourists a warm welcome. By visiting the villages in remote places, you’ll get a glimpse of the way of life of the original settlers of Kengtung including the way they plant, the way they lead their homes, and the way they run a community.
