Entry Fee and Bookings
You can take the AH150 bus from the Kota Kinabalu City Terminal North to get to Sabah Tea Garden. Alternatively, you can also get a taxi from Kota Kinabalu city centre or drive to the tea garden on your own. The journey will take about 2.5 hours and the road can be rather bumpy at certain sections.

You may get to the attraction by KTM Komuter, just disembark at Kuala Lumpur railway station and take a short walk to the mosque. You can also take the RapidKL bus B101 and B112 and get off at Dayabumi Complex. The easiest way to reach the site, however, is via taxi or Uber.
Sabah Tea Garden is a great destination for travelers of all types and ages.
Time to Spend
You can spend about half a day in the tea garden and factory. You may also choose to stay overnight to experience the garden at night.

Budget travellers can stay in traditional long houses or pay a fee to set up tents at the camping ground. Mid-range accommodations in cottages are available too.
Good to Know
If you are going for a day trip, you should arrive at the garden in the morning, as night driving could be dangerous due to limited street lights and bad road conditions. For an overnight trip, you should make a reservation for accommodation prior to the trip.
