Legoland Malaysia Resort

Exciting, fun, and colourful adventures await you at the 4th Lego-themed park in the world.

Malaysia’s first international theme park will spark your imagination of how small bricks can be transformed into a wonderful world for all ages. The theme park is a kids and photo-lovers paradise especially in good weather.

 

Location

The resort is situated at the West of Johor Bahru, about 32 kilometres from the Johor Senai International Airport. You can also get there from Singapore and it is about 60 kilometres from the Changi Airport Singapore.

 

Opening Days and Hours

The Legoland theme park opens every day from 10:00 to 19:00 while the Water Park closes at 18:00. The park might open for longer hours during weekends, public and school holidays.

 

Entry Fee and Bookings

For Legoland Theme Park:

  • Adults from 12-59 years old: RM 195 (USD 47.39) per person
  • Children below 11 years old or seniors above 60 years old: RM 155 (USD 37.67) per person

For the Water Park:

  • Adults from 12-59 years old: RM125 (USD 30.38) per person
  • Children below 11 years old or seniors above 60 years old: RM 105 (USD 25.52) per person

 

How to Get There

The resort is accessible by road. You can take a 1-hour bus ride from Johor Bahru Sentral or a taxi from Johor Senai International Airport. If you are going there with your own vehicle, the parking fee is RM 10 (USD 2.43) per entry.  There is also a shuttle bus from the Singapore Flyer that crosses the border to Legoland Malaysia a few times daily.

The resort is ideal for families with kids especially for Lego fans. It is also great for groups of friends and couples to have a fun-filled day.

 

Time to Spend

You will need at least 3 hours up to a full day to enjoy all the attractions within the park.

 


Popularity and Best Time to Go

It is best to arrive in the morning, especially when the weather is good as there are a lot of outdoor rides and photo taking opportunities. Do note that it is usually very crowded during school holidays.

 

Activities

There are many activities for all ages including rides, slides, live shows, Lego movies in 4D, and photo opportunities all over the park especially at Miniland. There are some challenging rides which are only available for people older than 4 years old and above 110 centimetres in height.

 

Food

There are a variety of cafés and mid-range restaurants in the park such as Castle Fried Chicken, Burger Junction, Beach Grill, and Asian Deli. Fine-dining options like Family Bricks restaurant and Kai’s Sushi Bar are available at the hotel entrance.

Stay

The Legoland Hotel at the entrance of the park offers 3 types of Lego-themed rooms at mid-range prices. For budget travelers, there are also economical hotels nearby.

 

Good to Know

You should buy tickets to the park at least 7 days in advance for a 20% off combo ticket (theme park and water park) and stay overnight if you are a Lego fan. Sunblock is a must for kids while hand-fans, umbrellas, and wet tissues are highly recommended because it can get very warm in the park.
