How to Get There
You can reach Seminyak Beach via:
By car: From Kuta and Legian, you can travel via the Jalan Legian going to Jalan Seminyak, which runs parallel with the beach. A quicker route albeit farther in terms of distance is via the eastern bypass called the Jalan Sunset.
A number of hotels provide a shuttle service going to Seminyak. Another option is via a prepaid taxi, which costs around IDR 60,000 (USD 11.78) from the airport, IDR 30,000 (USD 2.21) from Kuta, and IDR 15,000 (USD 1.10) from Legian.
By boat: From Gili Islands, the closest port to Seminyak Beach is the located in Benoa – a 30-minute drive southeast. From Gili Air, you can travel via the Patagonia Xpress – a free shuttle service in the areas of Seminyak, Kuta, and Denpasar.
