Each season has its own unique experience. For the dry season from December to June, water is scarce but it is much easier to hike the trails in the area. It is very crowded during weekends and public holidays, so avoid going at these times.

The water flow can be heavy after it rains so avoid swimming at the waterfall if that happens. If you are going to swim with your kids, ensure proper supervision, and prepare floats for them.
For nearby attractions, you can visit Otres Beach, which is about a 30-minute drive and Ream National Park, about 1 hour’s drive from Kbal Chhay Waterfall.
Mini huts are available around the waterfall, which can be rented by the hour. However, most visitors only make day trips to the waterfall.
