Kampong Phluk

Kampong Phluk is one of the floating villages on Tonle Sap consisting of a majority of Khmer villagers. Passing through mangroves, lush paddy fields, and the beautiful lotus in the tranquil lake is a surreal experience.

Kampong Phluk is located about 16 kilometres southeast of the Siem Reap city centre.

Entry Fee and Bookings
There is no entry fee to Kampong Phluk but most tour operator fees include a small contribution to the villages, which start from USD 25 per person.
How to Get There
You can take a boat from the Chong Khneas dock to get to the village. You can also take a tuk-tuk or motokep to Domdek or Rolous Village on Route 6 and then hire a boatman to the floating village. The easiest way is to join a tour group as the ease of getting there highly depends on the season and weather conditions during the time of your visit.

As there are crocodiles in the lake, do refrain from dipping your arms or legs into the water during your boat ride.
