Cambodian Cultural Village is a stand-out attraction in Siem Reap where visitors can discover more about the country’s customs, lifestyle, beliefs, as well as the traditions and way of life of Cambodia’s different ethnic tribes.
In one of the vast land areas of Siem Reap lies the Cambodian Cultural Center that is home to museums, theme parks, fun fair, and miniature versions of Phnom Penh’s iconic structures like the Royal Palace and the Reclining Buddha. The 13 traditional villages — modeled according to the characteristics and culture of the 19 races in Cambodia — inside the CCV provide tourists a glimpse of the Cambodian life through colourful dances, performances, and re-enactments of Cambodian ceremonies. Adult tourists may find the CCV a bit odd but the place is a must see especially for those who have children in tow.
