45 kilometres away from Denpasar City, way past beautiful rice fields and the Sangeh Monkey Forest, lies Nungnung Waterfall, a stunning 70-metre waterfall surrounded by the rich greenery of the rainforest. The way to Nungnung Waterfall is a bit of a challenge – you have to go down 486 steps – but it will be totally worth it once you are welcomed by the waterfalls’ roaring waters, the relaxing sounds, and the fresh, clean atmosphere of the place. The fact that Nungnung Waterfall isn’t as crowded as other attractions makes it a perfect place for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bali.
Nungnung Falls is located at Plage Petang Badung, Nungnung, Indonesia, 35 kilometres north of Ubud.
